Dr Giuseppe Battaglia graduated in chemical engineering at the University of Palermo (Sicily, Italy). He devoted his PhD studies to the investigation of membrane deformation effects on the performances of Electro-membrane processes. He is currently a junior assistant professor at the University of Palermo focusing his research on mineral recovery from exhausted brines via reactive crystallization.
