Biography

Dr. Semyon A. Mareev is an assistant professor at physical chemistry department in Kuban State University, Russia. In 2013, he was awarded the PhD degree in Chemistry under supervision of Prof. Victor V. Nikonenko. From 2012 to 2018 he was invited researcher in EIM (Montpellier, France), UPC (Barcelona, Spain), ICMPE-SPC CNRS (Paris-Thiais, France). Dr. Mareev published 50 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. Now he is working on the simulation of the electrodialysis process in water solutions of weak electrolytes. Another area of his scientific interests is electrochemical engineering of electromembrane systems and characterization of ion exchange membranes using different experimental technics such as scanning electrochemical microscopy, chronopotentiometry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy etc.
